HORSES AVAILABLE FOR LOAN

We are offering a unique and exciting opportunity for horse lovers. This great opportunity allows you to full or part loan a horse at the fraction of the usual cost. All horses must stay at current yard near Isleham. The loaner will be responsible for the cost of shoeing and will be asked to contribute a small amount towards the horse's upkeep but all the added extras such as vet bills, feeding, worming, bedding and tack are included. For those with work commitments it is an idea opportunity as we will feed, turnout and bring the horse in everyday and so you can just come up to the yard after work to ride and muck out.

Riding experience is essential; however we do have a freelance riding instructor that regularly teaches at our premises so lessons can be arranged at the rider's expense. There are experienced owners who can help you and so this could suit someone who may be looking at getting back in to the care or riding of a horse after having time off.

We have on site; an all weather surface floodlit ménage, lunge pit and access to great hack routes. If you are interested or know of anyone else who might please click here to contact us.

Available to loan as a project, Mia is a stunning Appaloosa mare who has bred 4 foals in her previous homes. She has not been ridden for the past year so needs an experienced and committed carer/rider who could give her a second chance.

Nellie is a 14.3 Haflinger available for full loan to a committed and confident rider.

BESS

Bess is a 16h thoroughbred mare, grey in colour and typical of the breed. Abandoned at the centre 4 years ago. She needs to go back to the basics as not been ridden for 2 years. Bess is only 12 years old and so has many years ahead of her for the right person.

PRINCE

Prince is a 16.1h gelderlander has only been at the centre since November 2014. Prince arrived in terrible condition showing all of his bones. His teeth were overgrown cutting in to his mouth and causing ulcers. With lots of good food and love he has turned in to a handsome teenager and is now looking for someone to care/ride him full time

Jack, 15h 18 years old, needs experienced rider as he is forward going but safe. Good on the ground and in traffic.

THOMAS

Thomas is a 16.1 shire cross gelding. He is a weight carrier and is ideal if you need to gain some confidence. He is looking for a carer/rider on a part loan basis (3 days per week). Loves apples!

Rosie is a pretty miniature Shetland. She is a mother's dream as she is brilliant for small children. She has been used at fundraising events and is a firm favourite. Ideal for the smallest of children, available 3 days per week

Norman is a 16.1h, Gelderlander gelding. Norman was rescued from a nasty man about 13 years ago by a very caring horse lover. However, after her circumstances changed she was no longer able to keep him. Norman has been with us for around 3 years. He is a lovely boy, quiet to ride and is looking for a carer/rider 3 days per week.

NETTIE

A rare opportunity to part loan (3 days a week) a very talented and fun horse. Nettie is a 16.1hh Dutch warmblood with 3 good established paces but at the age of 20 she is looking for a quieter life. Although Nettie is 20 she is not a novice ride and would suit someone that has either evented or seriously competed before but is now looking for a quieter life themselves. She is very easy to look after on the ground and has a lovely nature. Nettie is to stay at the current yard in Isleham.
